What does a new visitor see on your site before accepting cookies?

Enter the site's address. We read the home page once and show you what can be seen: banner, trackers started before consent, privacy policy, HTTPS. Not legal advice.

We open the home page once, like a new visitor, and read the HTML. We do not keep the page or save the address: we only count how many checks were made today.

Limits

A quick check, not an audit.

Law no. 195/2024 on the protection of personal data has been in force since 23 August 2026. What one HTML file shows is only part of the answer.

What we check

HTTPS, the cookie banner, analytics and advertising trackers that start before consent, other external services, cookies set by the server, the link to the privacy policy and pre-ticked boxes.

What we do not check

What happens after a click on “Refuse”, inner pages, submitted forms, documents and the purposes of processing. For that there is the full scan on onGDPR.md and a conversation with a person.

What we keep

Nothing from the checked page, not even its address. Only a number: how many checks were made today. The limit is 5 checks a day from the same IP address, used only for counting, in a form that changes daily.

Details of what we process are in the Privacy policy.

Next step

A full scan or a conversation.

onGDPR.md runs the site in a browser, tests the refusal and organises the findings with evidence. If you want to know what to change on yours, write to us.
